It started in 1958 with one man, one truck and a name on the door: Boyd Plumbing. Four generations of the same family have carried the trade since, widening the work, adding crews, and taking on the Midlands' businesses alongside its homes.

Our Story

Same Family. Same Standard.

In 2002–2003 the company was incorporated and took the name it carries today, Mr. Plumber, Inc. The work grew, the crews grew, and the commercial accounts came on, but the way we treat a customer's home never changed.

Today the fourth generation runs the trucks, the crews and the emergency line across Columbia and the Midlands. Still family owned. Still answering the phone.

Generation · Est. 1958

The family opens Boyd Plumbing in the Midlands with one truck, one name on the door, and a standard worth keeping.
2^nd

Generation

The trade passes to the founder's children. The service area widens across Columbia and the Midlands, and repeat customers become the whole business.
3^rd

Generation

Crews grow and commercial accounts come on: restaurants, motels, churches, retail. The company incorporates and is renamed Mr. Plumber, Inc.
4^th

Generation · Today

Still family owned and operated. The fourth generation runs the trucks, the crews and the emergency line across Columbia and the Midlands.
